Blogger is still extremely irritating with the messed up formating, but getting this post up is more important, so... here goes:

First September is coming and so that means Teacher's Day is just around the corner!
This, might very well be one of the last times we can gather together as a class to visit the wise, dedicated sages (not implying that their old...but, you get the idea) that helped us so, so very much two years ago and many of them still continue to do, directly or indirectly.

I understand that many of us have our own commitments - upcoming or right-smack-in-the-middle-of-ongoing prelims, and might be really tied down. Nevertheless, I hope, and I think everyone wishes that everyone else would make the effort to pop by just for a few moments to visit and show our appreciation for their dedication during one of the most crucial years in our studying years.

Okay, to make a really long paragraph short - PLEASE do your BEST to eek out some time to pop by for a SHORT while to do some catching up with them and everyone else (: Thanks!

And please TAG attendance on to the tagboard - that place is awfully inactive now.

On a sidenote, the postponed annual Homecoming day will now be on 5th September. That's the Saturday, right before your September Holidays or Study break rather. Hey guys, it's been quite sometime since the last update - starting to see "cobwebs" already. Anyway, I'm betting all of you are mugging your bums off right now for the upcoming JCT's (or at least I hope you all are) so I'll take the liberty to ask you guys to mark this date down.

Come the ~~first Saturday of July, 4th July 2009~~ will be our Alma Mater's annual Homecoming day. And fortunately, by this time, I'm guessing your CT's or BT's or whatever other ingenious motivational name your school has decided to name it to make it seem less intimidating, would have ended by then.

So... Please kindly keep that Saturday free. Please:) Who knows a class outing might get thrown in too after meeting up in school to visit the teachers. That's if you guys are actually willing to spare the time. I'm sure the teachers would appreciated it - Haven't seen Mr K. in quite a bit too.

That special day of the year where we commemorate that one person, who doesn't get as much limelight as the female figure in the household, is coming soon.
Although this person loves us - toils through work daily to bring home the bread, many of us usually forget this special occasion.
Hopefully, this year would be a change for the forgetful ones among us to break this habit and do or get something special for the man of the house.

Hey guys,

reminder: the gathering is this saturday. I haven't really had the time to really go plan it in detail yet, but here is the general itenary for the day itself - I'll update this post soon with more details.

Morning:
Few of the fellas are meeting up at Iggy's place for soccer.
Meet at 9am at the bus stop near Iggy's home.
Not too sure who're the ones going yet though.

Afternoon:
Lunching together; Eating at thomson plaza; sakae sushi. haha:)

Evening:
Thereafter, around early evening, we'll head over to town to catch the movie. Note: I might be changing the choice of movies, even though I would really like to watch it(currently it is x-men:wolverine) - thanks to the buggers who so conveniently forgot that we're supposed to watch it together and have watched it already. Might.

Dinner* after or before the movie. Depends on the timing of the movie.

Okay I've heard you people crying out for a class outing soon, to get some breather from the ever growing pile of homework, pressure, stress and commitments that threaten to overwhelm you - but you guys are just too bogged down, too busy with homework, too busy with CCA's, too busy with this and that... or either that you all are plain lazy. Sometimes.

And also because I promised an update soon, even though it's been about slightly more that a month overdue.

So here's the class 4-5's gathering wish list for the year 2009:

Jan - ~~New year's gathering.~~ - Seoul Garden went pretty well
June/July'ish? - Homecoming - This should be a must meet-up-date I guess
Late July/early August - CHMA 09 - Not so sure if you all would actually want to go, but I'll just list it down here.
September - Teacher's Day - Tribute day. Although I know it'll be pretty darn close to prelims or might be right in the middle of it, I'm sure the teachers would really appreciate it if we could all pay them a visit.
On going through out late November/December - Mini outings of movie watching and lan parties:) I suggest zy's house, haha. That's if he allows la.
December - Class Chalet - Needless to say, I think this would be a must have. "Die-die also must have and go for this." Of course, this is still in the planning stage, since I have no idea when A levels end, which chalet to book, where to get the money, who's going (though I really hope to get the WHOLE class attending, and I'm sure you would too.) and the whole long list of other sibei sian logistics as well as holiday clashes... you get the picture. But please, please, please, do your best to keep December free. *Cough* Especially those super duper affluent ones who probably have plans to be on the other side of the world during that time. Please do your best postpone the family holiday just for the chalet. Thanks:D
Might very well be the last time we get all get together before everyone goes into boot camp.
Unknown - overseas trip - this one's very ambitious but since this is a wish list, I'll list it down too. Might be planning to have an overseas trip to a country nearby (Aussie?) Would be great fun to move around together outside of Singapore together. Then again, there're a whole load of issues to look into as well - safety, financial, logistical just to name a few.

7 times the charm. As always, I'm open to suggestions, feedback and opinions. Just put them on the tagboard or let me know. This is also a shoutout to keep the tagboard as lively as possible, however, not at the expense of your studying time.

Kinda' fast that one year has already passed since we walked out of the hall after the graduation ceremony; walked out of the exam hall - exhilarated at the end of the O level's; walked out of the ballroom after Grad Night - grinning from ear to ear after a wonderful night, hopefully not the last, together as a level.

This video should be kind of nostalgic to many - reminiscing the crazy, funny, hilarious, ridiculous, brilliant times we all shared together.

New Skin!

Hey fella's,

By the time you all have read this, you've most likey familarised yourself with the new interface of the new skin. :D Hope you guys like it and I daresay that it'll be probably be permanent from now on...Though there're still some tweaking to be done - as you probably would have noticed, there still some pages that have yet to edited. (They're open to suggestions btw!)

Changed the song that originally came with this blogskin to Smoke on the Water - something I almost all of us can reminisce with. Of course, that can be changed too if you guys would prefer something else.

(lol, just realised that underlined text come's out pink, haha, but I guess it's cool)

Music player would most probably go under the multimedia page while the fifteen random facts page... Probably put quotes by our teachers? Like I said - They're open to suggestions :)

Next post would be the update/information about the barbecue on 4th Oct.

Long time no see. Created this blog for our class to assist in keeping touch, given now that all of us are scattered all over to place in different JC's, polytechnics, etc.

~~Do take in mind, as usual, whatever you see here is temporary.~~ As of 18th September 2008, blogskins pretty much permanent. Basically created this blog ad hoc so as to facilitate organisational matter with the upcoming barbecue - update on that soon enough.
